Ready for a voice on the job? Across the nation, public and private Emergency Medical Service professionals are uniting with AFSCME to have a voice on the job. Over 3,000 EMS professionals have recently joined AFSCME to elevate the profession and advocate for better emergency care. The numbers continue to grow.

"From New England to California, paramedics and EMTs are coming together to demand access to up-to-date equipment, adequate training, and better industry standards in order to provide safe and efficient care to the public," said Israel Miranda, Local 2507 (FDNY) president.
